Webinar Focuses on Optimizing Flow Sheet Content Management to Drive Quality and Process Improvements in Care Delivery
Flow sheets are powerful tools that can help drive the delivery of high quality care. Yet the sheer volume of entries – more than 766 million annually at the average health system – coupled with the complexity and lack of tools for measuring, standardizing and optimizing content makes effectively managing flow sheet documentation an ongoing challenge.
The proactive approach taken by Texas Health Resources (THR), an award-winning 25-hospital health system, to overcome the barriers to flow sheet content management will be the focus of “Navigating the Sea of Flow Sheet Documentation to Optimize Care Processes,” a webinar hosted by LogicStream Health, Inc. Brittany Newman, BSN, RN-BC, THR Application System Analyst, will describe the steps her team took to improve clinical care by improving management of flow sheet templates, groups and rows.
A key contributor to the success of the THR flow sheet content management improvement initiative was the LogicStream Intelligence Platform, which enables measurement of flow sheet utilization by care setting, provider and condition. The feedback loop for flow sheets was completed by measuring the impact flow sheets had on the care being delivered to patient populations.
